Shattered

I see life in jagged fragments
Time-lapsed still life
As if
Every other frame in a video
The landscape jerks past
I cannot comprehend
Hard-edged photographs
Giving distorted view of reality
Sun rises
As seen on a postcard
Silent light rising in the sky
Arrival a dream end to hell
