Mundane Visual Polution.... Vol. 8

This visual assault knows no bounds, can it be stopped? Well, maybe one day. All good things must come to an end.

I see that no one figured out the abstract photo from last week. I had thought about revealing it this week, but I have decided not to. Instead I have another photo taken around the same time. Plus two more to stun you with exasperated silence.

1. This needs no introduction, it is related to one from last week.

2. This is probably easy to recognize, I just don't remember taking it.

3. Finally, this was taken one evening while we were testing some path lighting.

That does it for this edition. Thoughts? Criticisms? Anything.........?

Election Day is Upon Us.

Well for those of us here in the States, tomorrow is election day. Probably the most important election in many many years. Now, all of you be sure to get out and make your voice heard. I don't care who you vote for, I don't care if you're not even sure yet. I have no idea yet, but I will be there tomorrow to but down my vote. It's a shame we have such lousy choices....

Now, I'd just like to give a mini rant about th electoral college. I am against it, and here is my reasoning. Currently with this system in place, it encourages lack of participation. It doesn't foster a sense of your voice meaning much. For example, New York is a primarily Democratic state in which the Democratic candidate wins, how does that really encourage a Republican, or any other party for that matter, really want to bother? What I propose is a switch to a pure popular vote. A popular vote will give more credence to the whole voter's voice argument. I feel this would encourage even more voter turnout as one vote can have a much larger affect on the outcome.

I am not a terribly politically minded person and have not been following the going's on very closely. I still feel that we all should get out there and make a voices heard, no matter how small a cry it may be.

That's all for now.

Guitar Ramblings

Sweet notes
They fill the air
Caressing the ear
Peace shattered
A crunch erupts
Adrenaline flows
Strings vibrate
Moving over
A sleek black
Exterior
A heartfelt
Interior
An object of creation
Evoking destruction
Sudden change
Calm chords
Surround you
Enveloping you
In a realm of rhythm
